ShowTix4U offers four unique and efficient ways of processing complimentary tickets.
- Create a $0 pricing option, available only to staff, and process each comp ticket transaction separately for each recipient.
- Create a $0 price and process one transaction with all comp tickets and distribute by paper.
- Create a FlexPass, used only by the Box Office, process one large FlexPass purchase, and distribute to recipients via Ticket Sharing. This option allows recipients to use their FlexPass code to redeem their comps on their own and allows flexibility for them to choose the date/times they prefer (within your set parameters).
- Create a Multi-code Coupon and set Dollar or Percentage Off to equal the total value of the comps being offered.
- Create a $0 pricing option, available only to staff, and process each transaction separately as a VIPatron order for each recipient which gives the option of the patron redeeming their comps ticket(s) within a 24 hour window, else the tickets are automatically be returned to the public pool and not available to that patron any longer.

Option 1: Create a $0 pricing option, available only to staff, and process each comp ticket transaction separately for each recipient.
Recommended when:
Minimal comp tickets distributed and comps are for a specific date/time.

Option 2: Create a $0 price and process one transaction with all comp tickets and distribute by paper.
Recommended when:
- Large number of comp tickets distributed
- Comps are for a specific date/time
- Can print and distribute paper tickets manually.

Option 3: Create a FlexPass used only by the Box Office, process one large FlexPass purchase, and distribute to recipients via Ticket Sharing. This allows recipients to use their FlexPass code to redeem their comps on their own and allows flexibility for them to choose the date/times they prefer (within your set parameters).
Recommended when:
- Large number of comp tickets distributed
- Want to offload work and responsibility from staff to recipients
- Want to allow flexibility on what performances comps are redeemed.

- Would like comps to be represented by an amount off
- Want to allow flexibility on what performances comps are redeemed.

Option 5: Create a $0 pricing option, available only to staff, and process each transaction separately as a VIPatron order for each recipient which gives the option of the patron redeeming their comps ticket(s) within a 24 hour window, else the tickets are automatically be returned to the public pool and not available to that patron any longer.
Recommended when:
- Minimal comp tickets distributed and comps are for a specific date/time.
- Wanting to just offer Comps to patron(s) that they can take up within a 24 hour window. After 24 hours the offer expires and the specific tickets you held for patrons are automatically released to the public pool. This is the recommended method when"papering the house."
