Download the Star WebPRNT browser AND the Star Settings Utility apps. iOS
Turn on the printer device
Make sure that the printer mode is set to Bluetooth (AUTO) by holding both Power and Feed buttons for 5 seconds. The Red light will blink 5 times, you will hear two beeps, then the printer should print the selected mode. Redo these steps until it says Bluetooth (AUTO).
Also make sure that the printer is in Emulation mode: Star PRNT
- 1. Turn ON the printer power and open the printer cover.
  2. Press and hold the POWER button and the FEED button simultaneously. As soon as the ERROR lamp flashes five times, release the buttons. The emulation switchover takes place automatically. (At that time, in step 2, make sure not to release the buttons until the lamp completes the 5th flash.)
  3. After setting the paper, close the printer cover. The set emulation mode is printed out.
  Star Line mode: EMU = StarPRNT
  If the emulation mode is not "StarPRNT, " repeat the above steps 1 to 3.
  4. Please reboot the printer after switching the emulation to StarPRNT
  *It will be valid after rebooting the printer.
Enable Bluetooth on your ios device and enter settings > Bluetooth.
Select Star Micronics from the list of available devices.
PIN should be 1234
Open the Star Settings Utility, make sure that your Bluetooth device is paired, by selecting the device PRNT Star from the dropdown (if not already selected).
From your device's Settings, scroll to Apps and select Star webPRNT. For the HOME URL, switch Custom URL to "on" and add "showtix4u.com". Under PRINTER > Model > select SM-S230i (StarPRNT). Make sure the PORT is set to Use Default. You should see BT:Star Micronics listed under this heading.
Open the Star webPRNT app. From this app, go to showtix4u.com and log in using the Client Login area from the menu at the top of the page.
You can now print using the STAR print button found at the completion of a purchase or from a transaction in Customer Search.
