For consumer protection, hard checks are valid for 90 days from the date printed on check.
Expired checks
After 90 days, hard checks issued by ShowTix4U are no longer valid. You should not attempt to deposit an expired check as your bank may levy fees when the check is returned, and the reversed funds may cause your account to be overdrawn.
When a check expires, ShowTix4U will send an email to the account administrator (under Billing/Banking) communicating expired check information. If no action is needed, such as updated mailing information, the check will automatically be reissued 1-2 weeks after expiration. Check reissue fees apply.
Returned checks
When a check is returned by USPS as undeliverable, ShowTix4U will send an email to the account administrator (under Billing/Banking) communicating check and mailing address information. Upon your reply of updated address information, the check will be reissued. Check reissue fees apply.
Check not delivered
If you have not received an expected check in the mail, please email accounting@showtix4u.com prior to 60 days after the expected arrival date. The check will be stopped and reissued at no cost. If ShowTix4U is not notified of mailing issue prior to 60 days, fees may be applied for each check reissued.
